ApplyArc

Why ApplyArc exists

A career coach in every job seeker’s pocket.

Career coaches charge £75 to £150 an hour on Bark. Most people job hunting can’t spend that. So one developer who’d applied to 500 jobs built a coach that fits in £19 a month, and made the tracker free for good.

The origin

It started with a spreadsheet and a lot of dread.

Not a pitch deck. A job seeker who got tired of losing track, and decided to build his way out.

George · Founder & engineer, ApplyArc

ApplyArc started in a flat in London. One developer, 500 applications in three months, and a Google Sheet with 47 columns, colour-coded tabs, and a small wave of dread every time another application vanished into the void.

He tried the paid tools. Huntr wanted $40 a month (about £32) for features he never touched. Teal wanted $29. Both felt built for someone with a recruiter's budget, not a job seeker's. So he started building something cheaper that actually helped.

The first version was ugly and barely worked, but it tracked jobs on a board and didn't cost a fortune. Then the AI went in: cover letters pulled from the real job description, interview questions for the actual role, follow-ups that sounded human. It stopped being a tracker and started being an assistant.

The Career Coach came last. The idea was simple: what if the tool read your whole pipeline and told you what to do each morning? Flag the follow-up you're about to miss. Spot the pattern in your rejections. Run a mock round before the interview that matters. That is what the Coach does now.

ApplyArc is a bootstrapped UK company (No. 16619519). No venture money pushing enterprise features nobody asked for. One focus, and every decision runs through it: does this help you land your next job faster?

What we stand for

Four rules we don’t break.

  • Job seeker first

Every feature starts with one question: will this help someone land a job faster? If the answer is no, it does not get built.

  • AI does the grunt work

Cover letters, tracking, interview prep, the busywork that eats your evenings. The AI takes it so you can spend your energy on the conversations that get you hired.

  • Privacy is not a setting

Your search runs on Microsoft Azure, encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell it, share it, or train an AI on it.

  • Priced for a job seeker

The free tier tracks 100 jobs and runs 5 AI generations a month, no card needed. Pro is £19, not the $29 to $49.95 the other serious tools charge.

The part no tracker has

A coach that reads your whole pipeline.

Other tools give you columns. The Coach looks at everything on your board and tells you what to do today.

Daily briefing

Every morning the Coach reads your board and tells you what matters today: the overdue follow-up, the interview to prep, the application going stale.

Mock interviews

It runs rounds tailored to each role on your board, asks what that hiring manager would ask, then gives feedback on structure, content, and confidence.

Rejection analysis

Getting knocked back stings. The Coach reads the pattern across your rejections, applying too wide, missing keywords, aiming a level too high, and tells you what to fix.

Salary coaching

When the offer lands it pulls market data for your role, location, and experience, then writes the negotiation email. No more guessing your number.

Tracking vs doing

Most trackers are a spreadsheet with nicer columns.

ApplyArc is an action system. Same board, but it does the thinking with you.

A typical tracker

  • You move cards between columns
  • You decide when to follow up
  • You guess which jobs are worth chasing
  • You wing the interview prep
  • You negotiate the offer alone

ApplyArc

  • The Coach tells you which card needs action
  • It flags every overdue follow-up, daily
  • Job Match scores your best fits for you
  • Mock rounds prep you for the actual role
  • The Coach drafts your negotiation email

Trust & security

Your job search is sensitive. We treat it that way.

The backing is real and checkable, and the data is yours to take or delete whenever you want.

Questions, answered

The short version.

Who built ApplyArc?
George, after applying to 500+ jobs in three months from a London flat. It's a bootstrapped UK company (No. 16619519), with no venture capital telling us to add features nobody asked for.
Is ApplyArc free?
Yes. Tracking is free forever, with 100 jobs and 5 AI generations a month, no card. Pro is £19/month, about 40% under Huntr and about 17% under Teal, with more AI tools than either.
Who owns my data, and can I delete it?
You do. Export your full job-search history anytime, delete your account and everything in it in one click, and we never sell your information.
How is this different from a normal job tracker?
Most trackers just store data. ApplyArc tells you what to do with it: daily briefings, role-specific mock interviews, rejection analysis, and salary scripts from the built-in AI Career Coach.

Stop guessing. Start acting.

Track every job, get a daily briefing from your Coach, and always know the next move. Free to start, no card.
