1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ApplyArc, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Service Description

ApplyArc provides a job application tracking platform with AI-powered tools including cover letter generation, resume optimization, and interview preparation.

3. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellation

ApplyArc offers a free plan with full access to the user interface and 5 AI generations per month. Pro is billed at £19, via Stripe.

Cancellation. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, after which your account is downgraded to the free plan. We do not refund or credit partial subscription periods.

Refunds. Pro subscription fees are non-refundable. Changing your mind, no longer needing the service (for example because you have found a job), forgetting to cancel before a renewal, or not using Pro are not grounds for a refund. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period and cancelling before your next renewal date is your responsibility. Cancellation or termination does not relieve you of any obligation to pay any outstanding fees. Any refund we choose to provide is at our sole discretion.

Withdrawal right (UK / EU customers). When you purchase Pro, you expressly consent to immediate access to the Pro features and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (and equivalent EU Consumer Rights Directive provisions) when your Pro access begins. You authorise ApplyArc to charge your payment method automatically each billing period until you cancel.

Disputes and chargebacks. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at support@applyarc.com first so we can put it right. Filing a chargeback in bad faith, for example for a charge where you have already used the service to fulfil its purpose (generating AI content, downloading a generated PDF, or accessing Pro features after the charge date), constitutes a breach of these Terms. We may submit timestamped product usage logs, server activity logs, session recordings, and prior support communications to Stripe, the card network, and the issuing bank as evidence, and may suspend accounts associated with bad-faith chargebacks and recover the actual, reasonable, documented costs and fees arising from the dispute, to the extent permitted by law.

Statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law, including any right to a remedy if a Pro feature does not conform to its description.

4. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content is provided as a starting point. You're responsible for reviewing and customizing before use.

5. Your Data, Backups & Account

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything that matters to you. ApplyArc is a job-tracking tool, not a backup or data-storage service, so do not rely on it as the only place your information lives. You can export your data anytime from Settings.

Your account is identified by your Microsoft sign-in, not by your email address alone. If that sign-in is deleted or changed, or you register again, you may be treated as a new user and data from a previous account may be inaccessible. Signing up again with the same email does not merge or restore a previous account.

We may suspend or delete accounts, and their data, that are inactive for an extended period or that we remove for security, abuse, legal, or authentication-provider reasons. Once deleted, data may be permanently unrecoverable. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss, deletion, or corruption of data, however caused. Nothing here removes any non-waivable statutory rights.

6. Acceptable Use, Suspension & Termination

You agree not to circumvent usage limits, create multiple accounts to obtain extra free usage, use bots or automation to access the service, or register a new account to evade a suspension or ban. We may suspend, restrict, terminate, or refuse the service to any account where we reasonably believe it has breached these Terms or engaged in fraud or abuse. Where an account shows abuse or circumvention, fees already paid are non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing here removes any non-waivable statutory rights.
