A good board is not enough if the rest of the workflow fights you. Compare capture, tailoring, automation, and cost at source.
Huntr's official pricing page lists $40 monthly, $90 every 3 months, and $160 every 6 months. ApplyArc lists £19 monthly or £45 every 3 months. These are different currencies, so this guide compares workflow and reports each price as published rather than inventing a converted winner.

Start With the Workflow That Is Failing
A tracker can look tidy while the real work still leaks into five other places. The useful comparison is not "which product has the longest feature list?" It is "which part of my search keeps breaking?"
- Choose Huntr when released browser capture, a job board, resume work, cover letters, and AI interview questions fit the way you already search.
- Choose ApplyArc when you want a Kanban board tied to 18 AI tools, including interview prep and salary negotiation, and you are comfortable adding jobs manually while its extension remains waitlist-only.
- Choose Teal when its tracker, contact organisation, resume builder, keyword matching, and email templates match a resume-led workflow.
- Choose Simplify when application autofill is the main job. Its official Copilot page says autofill, the tracker, job matches, and a basic resume builder remain free.
- Choose LoopCV when automated search and application volume are the main job, after checking each job board's current automation rules.
Prices below stay in the currency each vendor publishes. A live exchange rate, tax, and card fee can change the amount you actually pay, so this guide does not invent a GBP winner from USD or EUR prices.

Huntr: Stay When Browser Capture Is the Centre of the Workflow
Huntr's pricing page documents a free plan with base resumes, basic matching, scoring, and insights. Pro adds unlimited job tracking, AI resume generations, tailored resumes, cover letters, and advanced matching, scoring, and insights.
Huntr also documents AI interview questions. That matters because an older comparison that describes Huntr as "basic tracking only" is no longer accurate.
Stay with Huntr when:
- its browser-saving flow is already part of your daily routine;
- you use its resume and cover-letter workflow;
- the interview-question format suits your preparation;
- moving years of notes and job history would cost more than it saves.
ApplyArc: Choose It for a Board Tied to 18 AI Tools
ApplyArc's free plan tracks up to 100 jobs and includes 5 shared AI generations each month. Pro is £19/month or £45 every 3 months and raises the board limit to 500 jobs while making AI generations unlimited. Fair-use guardrails apply.
The 18 tools cover cover letters, resume optimisation, job matching, interview preparation, follow-ups, outreach, company research, and salary negotiation. The Chrome extension is waitlist-only/private beta, so jobs are added from the dashboard today.
Choose ApplyArc when the application card should carry the context for the next task. Do not choose it for released browser clipping or CSV import; those are not live features.

Free ATS scanTeal: Choose It for a Tracker and Resume-Led Workflow
Teal's Job Application Tracker documents job saving, ratings, notes, keyword extraction, contact organisation, custom tasks, and email templates. Its Resume Builder documents unlimited resume versions and downloads plus job matching.
That is more than "resume-only AI." Choose Teal when the tracker, contacts, tasks, and resume tailoring belong in one workflow.
Teal's pricing page did not expose a current list price in the public response available during this check. This guide therefore does not repeat an older price. Open the official page and verify the plan shown to you.

Simplify: Choose It When Autofill Is the Bottleneck
Simplify's Copilot page documents autofill across supported application portals, an application tracker, job matches, and a basic resume builder. It says those core features remain free and that job-specific answers can use AI.
Simplify's feature and pricing help page distinguishes the free core product from Simplify+. Check that page for the current paid add-ons rather than treating "Simplify" as one undifferentiated plan.
LoopCV: Choose It for Automated Search, With a Policy Check
LoopCV's pricing page documents automated search, applications, follow-ups, and result tracking. It lists a free plan and paid plans from €9.99/month.
Automation is a separate risk question from price. LinkedIn says it does not allow third-party software or browser extensions that scrape or automate activity. Indeed bans bots, scrapers, data mining, and automated applications without express written permission. Check the rules of every board you plan to use before enabling automated collection or submission.
Other Workflows Worth Checking
These first-party pages document useful capabilities, but they did not provide a current public paid price that this check could verify:
- Careerflow Job Tracker and AI Mock Interview: tracker, LinkedIn tooling, and mock interviews.
- Jobright: matching, resume tailoring, social connections, and application autofill.
Price unknown is better than a stale number. Verify the live plan in the product before comparing costs.
A Fair Decision
- Write down the broken step: capture, tracking, resume tailoring, forms, interviews, or follow-up.
- Check the official page for the feature that fixes that step.
- Compare native-currency prices without pretending a fixed exchange rate.
- Test the free workflow with two real applications.
- Keep the product that removes work without taking control away from you.
